Our prayer for you is that during the next 21 days you will experience a deeper connection in your relationship with Jesus. We are praying you will begin to find some freedom from any addiction or struggle you are facing. Remember: Fasting is just stopping something. It's giving up something in order to have a deeper focus on Jesus. We want more of Him and His ways to overcome the struggles in life.

Yesterday we talked about developing a plan. Once we know what we are stopping and the when, what, where, and other details, let's form a consistent plan to connect with God.

Here's some resources that might help:

1) Journaling: as you spend time with God, record your thoughts or write your prayers. Write down your goal for this fast and keep track of your progress and the high's and low'.

2) Bible Reading Plans: There are great options on Bible.com/Bible App. You can find a variety of plan. You might want to read through a reading plan that is focused on your relationship with God. There are some plans for facing addictions whether is substance abuse, food, busyness, porn or other problems. Other plans focused on fasting, anxiety, plans for teens,  and so much more.

3) Pray: As you spend time with God. Ask Him to speak to you. Guide you. Give you strength to overcome.

4) Don't do it alone: You may want to tell another person about your plans to help hold you accountable.
