The Church. What are the words that come to mind when you hear “The Church”? For a lot of people it is judgmental, hypocritical, all about my money, holier-than-thou, arrogant and narrow. You might be surprised to find out that Jesus felt the same way about the religious establishment of his day. Maybe you were expecting grace, friendship, forgiveness, but instead you got . . . burned by The Church. The same is true for many other people including Jesus. All month long, we’ll get a glimpse of how things are supposed to be and God's purpose for the church. It’s different than you might think, and it might just change your perception of The Church.
