Parenting can bring joy and be an amazing experience, but parenting can be difficult. It can make us tired and stressed out. We can feel guilt over mistakes because we want what's best for our kids. In this class, we will give practical steps you can take to improve your parenting skills. Some topics will include parenting at different ages, boundaries, developmental issues, discipline, etc. We are bringing in a licensed professional family and child counselor and other speakers to bring you the best, practical, and inspiring class possible to help you and your family experience your best life.
This 5 week class is on Mondays starting February 2, 6:30-8:00 p.m. The registration deadline is February 1st and the cost is $10 per family. Please try to provide your own childcare. For those that need help, we can provide childcare at The Journey for an additional $20 per family for the 5 week class. You can register at one of our Journey Church sites at a Sunday morning service or register here.
We also have a series beginning in February about developing a vision for your families' future. It will be every Sunday at The Journey at 9:30 or 11:00 am. There's also a great experience for you kids during each service.
