This is not our normal service. This is an experience to reflect on Jesus and the cross. There are different stations to walk through with interactive elements, readings, communion and other ways to rememeber what Jesus did on the cross. You can spend 5 or 25 minutes walking through the stations, so you can come and go anytime during this evening. Sorry no child care for Good Friday.
We will have 3 identical gatherings between both of our sites with full kids programs (nursery - 5th grade), coffee bar, live band, and a relevant message. We have a casual environment with a come-as-you-are atmosphere. If you've never been to church or if you've haven't gone since you were a kid, just know that more than half of The Journey is in the same boat. Come and explore God at your own spiritual level. We're all about relationships, not religion. Hope to see you this Easter.
What makes a good story? Maybe it's risk or adventure. Maybe it's how the character overcomes adversity. Maybe it's the plot or an unexpected twist. Maybe you've been lost in good book or captivated in an intriguing movie because it's such a great story. Instead of hearing, watching or reading a great story, what if we lived a great story?
Maybe your story has chapters full of joy or maybe pain. Maybe your story seems to have lots of plot twist? Maybe you feel like the stories going no where. Maybe there's chapters of your story you love. Maybe some you'd like to forget. Throughout this series we are looking at how God can rewrite our story when we join in His grand story. So what's your story?
(We will begin this 3 part series on Easter Sunday)
