Below are some resources that can help you take next steps as a family:
Everyone in the family has to eat. Schedule some nights for a special family dinner...even if it's just mac-n-cheese & hot dogs.
Create conversations. Have a jar where everyone can put in questions or try doing "Would you rather..." and have two options to discuss. Do it at dinner or maybe turn off the radio & phones in the car for some time together.
When playing ball with your kids, always video tape it. It will be treasured down the road. Also, if they hit you with the ball, you might win big bucks on Funniest Home Videos.

If we were to build our dream home, we would work with a builder and follow a blueprint. So what if we could have a plan to build up our families? This form will give you an outline to create a vision for your families future. You can find the form here and more about creating a vision in our Building Your Dream Home series.
Kids and Families are an important part of The Journey. As part of Child Dedication, we have set up a process to support parents. We have two special sessions for parents & two events for dedications each year. Get more details on our Child Dedication brochure.
We have age-specific opportunities for your kids & teens. We want these groups to be a benefit for parents. We want to team with you to help your children grow in the way they should go. Our kids learn about life lessons and virtues (like knowledge, kindness, being a good friend...). Sessions are designed to build character. Our teens groups are designed to relate to their needs and to help them take next steps with God, parents and with their peers. For more thoughts, resources & ideas, click the button below:
We offer a few different courses on parenting & families like on how to influence your child to single parenting to marriage classes. Journey Night Classes are a great place where parents can encourage and support each other as they deal with similar challenges.
Winning At Home encourages people at all ages and stages of family development. They offer a variety of resources designed to offer hope and renewal to individual lives. Check out their radio podcast, videos and their store for other great ideas and resources.
