Life is a journey. What direction are you taking your life? We believe God has a bigger plan for our lives (Jeremiah 29:11-13). It's all about taking first steps & next steps towards your best life found into relationships, not religion. Here are some initial and important steps to consider:
We think you’ll find something exciting, fresh, and relevant to your life. We’re about relationships, not religion. Relationships with others and with Jesus are how we were meant to live. One of the best ways to experience that life is to connect with God and others who are in that same pursuit. Join us any Sunday at 9:30 or 11:00 am.
We would never expect someone to blindly just follow anything – especially when it comes to our spiritual lives. The Journey was designed for people to ask questions, explore, and investigate at your own pace. We believe if God is God, then He can handle our questions, doubts and fears. So doubters and skeptics are welcome. We have Beginnings Groups for those asking questions and want to explore God or just use your connect card any Sunday.
Networks are great places to meet people, serve our community, and get your feet wet at The Journey. You’ll meet some people in your own community, make a difference in the lives of others, and take some next steps along the way.
We may know some things about God. But if it’s about relationships, we need to really get to know Him personally. God is the God of second chances and He wants to connect with us no matter who we are or no matter what we've done. The Bible says that if we draw near to God, He will draw near to you (James 4:8). It says that if we seek God with all our hearts, we will find Him. (Deut. 4:29) If you want to begin a relationship with God or know Him more, check out these resources.
Below is a picture of the framework for taking next steps in relationships, not religion. It begins with a relationship with Jesus and making Him the center of our hearts, souls & lives. That relationship is directly connected to our other relationships. We need to invest in people we know who are disconnected from Jesus to help them find their best life in a relationship with Him. We also need some key relationships with people who are connected with Jesus so we can help each other through life. It's not about just doing some religious activity. It's about who you are becoming and our core essentials are the heart beat of who we want to be. So what's your next step?
